About KJH
K.J.H are my initials and I’m in the media business, so their you have it, KJH Media but you can call me Kevin. Ok so media is kind of a broad term. I’m mostly a front end web developer but I do enjoy dabbling in all ranges of web development. I’m currently the senior front end developer at Wallop Creative in Vancouver, B.C.
My weapons of choice are:
- HTML[duh, obviously]
- CSS [2, 3, SASS and LESS frameworks]
- Javascript and all the usual suspects for frameworks [jQuery, Mootools, Prototype and Dojo]
- Actionscript [not often but not a stranger either]
- PHP [Personal Home Page or Hypertext Preprocessor?, Discuss amongst yourselves]
- WordPress [I can't say enough good things about this platform]
The Arena I play in is the LAMP Stack.
I picked up my trade at Capilano University in the Interactive Design Program and spent my rookie season at Traction Creative. I’ve worked with everything from the small interactive agency to the publicly funded startup and have loved every minute of it. If you want the whole story in detail, you can contact me or check me out on LinkedIn. The more I learn about development the more I wan’t to know. I enjoy a challenge and always thrive to exceed the expectations of stakeholders. My Goal is to always code with the user in mind, concentrating on UX. I collaborate with designers on the interactive elements of a web project and execute these ideas in the best manner possible, that’s what I do and I wouldn’t trade it for any other job….almost*.
*ok maybe this guy’s job.
